The prominent
Bulgarian painter Dimitar Todorov - JARAVA was born on 21 September 1901 in a northern
Bulgarian town of Shoumen - situated 80 km. from the Black sea coast.
1920 - 1930 graduates with two High school specialties
Painting in the Bulgarian Fine arts Academy and
Decoration with professor Stefan Badjov
1931 - 1944 - most prominent illustrators of
children magazines - "Svetulka", "Detski sviat" ...
Exhibits with the "Unorganized" - artistic circle.
His pictures are exhibited and sold in domestic galleries and abroad - Sweden, Holland,
England, Canada and USA.
1937 - voyage to America (New York,Buffalo,Niagara
Falls,Chicago) - painting - (The Vicinity of Buffalo'37)
1938 - invents and
licenses a New
Cinematography Tape - (patent 05.03.1938)
1946 - 1948 - works and experiments in the
animation area.
