- 1979 - starts as solo vocalist and guitar in "Diana Express" - band
- 1980 - together with the band receives the prize "Melodia na godinata" ("Melody of the year") for the song "Dusha" ("Soul") - this is his debut record on the Bulgarian National Radio.
- 1980 - his first single  appears
- 1981- leaves "Diana Express" and begins his own carrier
- 1982 - his second single appears
- 1982 - receives first prize of the Youth competition of the Bulgarian National Television
- 1982 - receives a prize of the festival Knok - Belgium (festival of Eurovision)
- 1982 - realize a record in Brussels - Belgium, he is acknowledged by the specialist for originality and receives a contract from three French producers and a Belgium manager for total launching of a star in Europe and the world. The contract is with a term for 14 years, with the means of which he should emigrate. He refuses, because of fears for repressions of his family in Bulgaria. Such a contract and acknowledgement haven't received any pop-musician up to this moment in Bulgaria.
- 1983 - receives second prize of the jury and first prize of the public on the Youth competition.
- 1983 - receives the special prize for composer "Dresden - Germany".
- 1983 - his first album - "Vlubeni" (In live") appears.
- 1984 - receives the prize for the best singer "Keven - Ireland" festival of Eurovision
- 1984 - receives the grand award of La Valete - Malta - festival of Eurovision
- 1984 - tours in Russia, Cuba and Germany.
- 1985 - his second album "Shepa piasak" ("Hollow full of sand")
- 1986 - receives the grand award of Hungary for composer
- 1987 - recording and concert activity together with one of the best Hungarian musicians from "Times" band
- 1988 - tour in Russia "Melodia druzei" ("Friends melody")
- 1988 - tours in Romania and Israel
- 1989 - tour in Russia
- 1991 - registers his own musical house "Georgia - Venecia"
- 1991 - his third album "Budi zvezda do kraia" ("Be a star to the end") appears
- 1991 - receives the award for the best singer and the best album of the year. Songs from this album was heard in many countries round the world in original Bulgarian version.
- 1995 - a creative biography of Georgi Stanchev is included in the prestige musical catalog "Who is who in the music" - Cambridge, England.
- 1995 - his fourth album "Venecia" appears
- 1998 - his volume of poetry "Mechtatel" ("Dreamer")
- 1998 - a double album with "The best of Georgi Stanchev" appears
- 1998 - a tour in USA and Canada is impending
